Pros: Handy and works very well. Excellent! i have used it several times and it says exactly what the product description is . it is very potent in the vibrations it gives. this unit transfers the physical factors necessary to the human body into precise digital signals and conducts comprehensive therapy through computer based on the requirements of the body. In this way, the therapeutic accuracy can be ensured and the therapeutic efficacy can be greatly improved. Great for stiff neck/shoulder, colds, fatigue, high/low blood pressure, aches and pains
Cons: Number of pads. No spare
Pros: easy to use, very portable, includes batteries and it´s easy to transport. It have a lot of modes not only acupunture and you can change the level and the time at using
Cons: I think it´s expensive and don´t include cable of usb; the manual it write in chinese and it could be a problem i have other with manual of english most cheaper and with cable of usb but it only with 2 electrodes.
Pros: It´s a useful item, and it have 4 electrodes I built other cheaper about 8,6 euros but only it have 2 electrodes. I like this machine because you can use batteries. It´s easy to use.
Cons: I think it is expensive, electrodes don´t sell separately/apart, I think they must sell electrodes, too. It´s easy to use but I think can be a problem that the manual only is writen en chinese; I had other in english but this with 4 electrodes only have the manual in chinese
Pros: Great price, delivers impulses just like machines that cost a lot more. The directions are not very useful but after using it for a while, they are not necessarily needed as it is easy to learn.
Cons: No replacement pads. Need to be careful when first using and turn the intensity down. With the intensity at high levels, it can be quite uncomfortable if not used to it at first, but after a few uses, you will gradually be able to increase the intensity.
Pros: This is an excelent machine to relax while you do another activity like watching tv, to do exercises without moving any finger (except for the finger to press the start button), and so.
Particularly, I knew this kind of machine when I made muscle rehabilitation, and I can say it helped me a lot to recover my strength.
Cons: It doesn't have english manual, so you have to try and try to get the optimal nivel and exercise kind.
It doesn't have instructions about how to put pads.
After using this machine, pads will need water-based gel, because quality pad get worst, but this get is so cheap.
Pros: -It really works
-You can use it not only for electronic acupuncture (can't really tell you if it is suitable for such) but it is great as an electrical stimulator.
-It uses only 3 regular batteries (1.5v each).. I guess it has a 5v input (not really described at manual... after all the manual I received was in chinese and I cant read chinese) anyway I wound use an external power supply for something that will be connected to my skin.
-I tested it on myself but the intent was to bring a bit comfort and reducing pain on my mother (who had an stroke 2 years ago).
Cons: The screen can't be read very well... looks like it has some degree on focus... perhaps, I have to incline it a bit to be able to read... That is not a power problem, at least not from batteries as I tried many.
Other: This is really an update to my first review.
I bought a 2nd unit as it is really cheap and works great.
Would be amazing if came with extra pads (I have to buy extra through another place as I couldnt find then here)... you can also made alternate pads by using some cotton embedded in a solution of water + salt and fix with an adhesive tape... just insert the electrode in the cotton and it will work... not good as original pads, but works until you find replacements.
Extra/spare cable/connector would be also great... they are made of thin cable and can be damage with minimum torsion.
If you want to try on yourself, you can out pads (always in pair otherwise you wont feel anything), select 'acupuncture' and increase power to up 2 or 3.. you should feel like tiny bits/punches on skin (the higher the level strong the power)... of course that if you put in right over the muscle and use a high level (more than 4) you might feel pain/uncomfortable pinches.. On my tests, level 3 is great and doesnt hurt. Also, do not try holding the pad with device turned on... even on level 3 the sensation is like ant bites or something.
Hope this review can help others to decide.
Pros: First of all, I was affraid to try it after few reviews and comments... Never used something like before as Im not really like to get shock even when people say that it doesnt hurt (who can believe ?)
Well... finally I got enough courage to try it...
First I got an english manual (thanks to Theohari http://rapidshare.com/files/420802263/Original_Masajeador.pdf ) and after reading a bit (yeah... I must try it before lost courage) I put one pad on my arm (elbow) and the 2nd one few fingers below (near the wrist)... turned it on and set power to level 1... NOTHING... Damned (I though)... this thing is already broken without even use? Well.. I set the power to 2 and still nothing... but wait.. somehow it was like someone is pinching (not even closer to cause pain) my skin under the pad... interesting... I tried the power level 3... oh my Gosh... my hand started to shake... and fingers looks like moving without any though... again NO PAIN at all. My courage wasnt enough to set beyond that level... was okay to me... and it is fun. Can't say yet if it is relaxing, will bring good or bad side effects but was great to know that many was right... there is no PAIN at least up to level 3 (try high on your own risk).
Cons: Couldnt find any yet.
Pros: This really works! Excellent price. Considerably lower than that of comparable online and retail products. Numerous 'pulse type' settings. Numerous 'pulse strength' settings. This device has 4 electrode/contact pads. I bought this for my mother who was experiencing serious back pain. Though it helped a bit, she eventually needed surgery for spinal stenosis.
Cons: Plastic casing is a very light gauge, so be careful not to drop it, or it will likely crack the casing --- and possibly cause other damage. A thicker gauge rubber-type of casing would have been better, considering the circumstances under which this product is used. There was no user manual --- but, the controls have an intuitive nature to them, so it's not a deal breaker. But, given that this is a medical device, there really should be a user's manual.
Other: It was worth every penny; so, if you are experiencing back pain or muscle soreness, this is worth a try. But, if your pains do not subside after using this, you need to see a doctor. Seriously!
